   ditransitive

   We wish you a merry Christmas.

   I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

   I would not wish them to a fairer death.

   intransitive

   Anyone who wishes to may leave now.

   To recommend; to seek confidence or favour on behalf of.

   transitive

   I was wished to your worship by a gentleman.
